Learning

We provide a programme of individually tailored, continuous support for artists throughout their career, with the type and degree of support varying according to their changing needs.

We work with people at three levels of their development:

  • Aspiring Artists – for artists who may as yet have little experience or training and require encouragement, information, advice and guidance

  • Emerging Artists – for those who have experience and training and would benefit most from intensive support to develop their careers. See PASS scheme.

  • Practicing Artists – work experience, business advice and peer support to launch independent careers.

If you would like to find out more about any of these programmes please fill in a join in form.

PASS Training And Development Programme

For emerging artists art + power offers a training and development programme called PASS. The yearlong scheme runs from October each year.

The yearlong scheme will give disabled artists the opportunity to work together in a high quality environment and prepare work for performance and/or exhibition.

They will also have access to the very best of training, support and advice and an individually tailored package of Continuing Professional Development.

art + power is not just for disabled people but also for anyone who wants to use art to create a more vibrant and inclusive community.
